Support iLEAP

There are a number of ways you can be a part of our work:

Invest in Women Grassroots Leaders from Around the World

In partnership with the Seattle International Foundation (SIF) and Jolkona,  iLEAP has launched a campaign to promote and support global women’s leadership.  Launched in July 26th with a feature on Groupon Seattle, we have already raised $5,380.  You can join SIF and Jolkona in making an investment in women’s leadership by pledging support in increments of $10. For each $500 collected, Jolkona will fund one week of training for a woman leader to come to Seattle and participate in the iLEAP International Fellowship program. Every donation will be matched by SIF, dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.  Make a contribution.

Support iLEAP

iLEAP is a small but rapidly growing organization with three major programs. Nearly all the funds that we receive go directly towards implementing programmatic activity. These funds are for plane tickets for Fellows coming from overseas, bus passes while they are here and other expenses we cannot cover with in-kind donations. We keep our expenses at an absolute minimum. So you can be assured that your monetary donations are having maximum impact.

You can donate funds for iLEAP programs in three ways.

  • Checks should be made out to iLEAP and sent to: 4649 Sunnyside Ave N, Suite 400 Seattle, WA 98103.
  • Online Credit Card donations
  • Bank Transfers can be made to our account. Please contact us (info@iLEAP.org) for bank account information.

In-Kind Donations

Frequent Flyer Miles: iLEAP's programs involve a bringing Fellows to Seattle from Asia and Africa. Your donation of FF miles will allow these grassroots community leaders to participate in the our International Fellowship Program.

Homestay Host: Do you have a spare room? The ability to host someone for 5 to 10 weeks? A home within walking distance to a bus line? If so, please consider applying as a homestay! Each fall we bring social leaders from around the world for the International Fellowship Program. Fellows are independent women and men, dedicated to improving the lives of the marginalized groups they serve and need a "homebase" while training in Seattle. Click here to apply or contact Stephanie at stephanie@iLEAP.org for more information.

Material Goods: iLEAP students' training, and work in their home community, will be greatly enhanced by having certain material goods. For each Fellow, iLEAP works to provide a laptop computer, legal software for the computer, an an iPod touch, and cell phone. Donations of any such items are most welcome.

Volunteer

There are a number of ways that you can work with iLEAP. For our various events, iLEAP can always use volunteers for distributing posters and fliers, set up & take down of the venue, greeting attendees and following up on donations. We also have Program Interns, which help participants in the SIIS or Fellowship Program adjust to US culture, the Seattle bus system, and provide evening and weekend activities. Lastly, if you are a professional in finance, human resources, media or graphic design, we are continually seeking to expand our growing organization. If you have such skills, and would like to share them working with others for a common vision, please email us at volunteer@iLEAP.org !
