I just cannot believe that I have been to Seattle for last two and half months. Time has passed so fast that the thought of going away from here makes my heart very heavy. In this City I am connected with so many people, friends and organisations. iLEAP has taught me a great lesson of my life that is ‘Creat a deeper roots’ , ‘Social networking with relationship is powerful.” iLEAP has help me in a numerous ways to build my relationship others – with Betsy and Tony (my homestay family), SIIS group (Trion), Staff and board members, Shore Bank Pacific, Mr. Francis James and like many others. My relationship building opened up the new horizons of opportunities to provide me those innovative learning moments.
Shore Bank Pacific gave me new pedagogy, “GREEN” (sustainability) not just a philosophy but a marketing Strategy in all its dimensions – people, process, product, place and profits. While visiting various organisations I felt that am not alone in the global arena but there are many who surround me in order to asists me to answer the hard question commonly asked “What have I to do in this environmental awakening age? These NPOs, POs and Organisations are involved in for many years the unique business with sustainable framework. They are the leaders in Promoting LEED (Leadership in energy and environment Design).
First time, I encountered the first commercial bank (in the USA) with a seventh generation social commitment to environmentally sustainable (wholistic) development of the local community. It has got even very unique approach to integrate the clients as well as depositors to share the same vision & mission of the bank in order to make lasting positive impact on the local community. It impressed me that “it is possible for the bank to work with its customers towards sustainability and still be profitable”.
There are many things are happening around the world but I am still unaware of them. As Bovee says, “When all else is lost, the future still remains.”
