Today me and Arisa and Yamato went to the great chamber of commerce.
Well we have to say that it was a very exciting and precious time for us.
There were about 200 people attending to this chamber and all of them were not students but business people from many company.

We found many people from  a famous company starting with Microsoft, AIG,  and Arisa became friends with a person from Tully’s coffee, and they gave us a lot of business cards!

There were two great points for this chamber.
First is that of course we can get new connections with many interesting people. I actually didn’t talk with people who is working in a good position of a famous company, but however I was able to meet many interesting people. For example, a person who works at a NGO, or a person who is trying to create a new insurance company to fix the wrong way of American Insurance companies, and a man who works at a Community Relations company which is not familiar in Japan.
And also maybe I’ll have a chance to eat dinner with a person who runs an organization called JYPG and thats so exciting! Making new connection is so interesting.
And the other good point is that I had a lot of chance to do conversation in English today. To improve my english skills, the best way is to talk to many native people and use English as much as I can. Because we used a lot of English, me and Arisa was talking that we felt like our English skill had improved during the chamber of commerce. Any way it was a great opportunity for us.

Now we have only ten days so if there is another chance like this , i’d like to go and talk with many kinds of people in seattle!
