Hi! long time no see Seattle!
And also most of our UP members too. We should meet up some day soon!
Now the long long summer vacation of Rikkyo has finished. This summer was the most amazing summer I ever had and I hope most of the members are thinking in the same way.

After finishing our great program in Seattle, maybe many people were hoping us to be so aggressive finding new opportunities, or making new connections, or working hard for our job hunting. Well,,,, for me, non of these are correct. During these previous 3weeks, I was playing around and enjoying my vacation as much as possible!
I went to my tennis club training camp, going to a camp to the mountains, hanging out with my friends, going to hot springs,,, and more. Also we met with some of the UP members in Tokyo! unfortunaly I didn’t take pictures but it was so fun!! As you see, this summer I decide to enjoy my life as much as possible before my job hunting.
Well there are reasons why I decide to just have fun.
Because I’ve got most of the credit I need to graduate my school, I think I have time to study or do job hunting before the school starts. I have less classes next semester so I’ll start doing some activities out side the school.
The other reason is that I wanted to meet with my friends as much as possible. I realized that making good relationship with friends is sooo important. They will help me when I need help, and also just meeting with them makes my life more exciting and fun. So I wanted to spend my time with them and make a good memory of this summer.
And also it was a time for me to think about what I want to do in the future. Good preparation is needed for me to start my job hunting I seriously feel that I’m not prepared enough for it. I was thinking about how to do my job hunting and thinking of the way of doing it. Also I had to review about the works in BPT too.About what I did, what I’ve learned, and what I’ve achieved so I can talk about it in my interview. Hope this great experience will be a strong advantage for my job hunting!

Now the school has started and also I should be started. I’ll keep challenging my self and working hard!!

Oh and I’ll be looking forward for Britt coming to Japan in December! Hope he will bring us some good salmon from Seattle with him!

    Daiki!

It’s so great to hear from you! I think it’s good you are taking some time to have fun and enjoy yourself…but just because school is starting doesn’t mean you have to stop making time for friends!!

I’ll make sure Britt brings you some salmon! ;)

I am also glad you are enjoying yourself and it would be great to see pictures of the adventures you did manage to photograph! The networks and groups of people you are building relationships with are very important to hold onto as well as the work you have done. When we are doing things we enjoy people can tell, I say when you practice your interviewing remember to speak about what makes you excited! Thanks for the note we continue to look forward to hearing from you–Cheers from Seattle!
