I am Miho Sato who is the one of the participants of SIIS program 2011.
Actually I posted my first blog yesterday
The i LEAP staff and the other participants will know me if I say I am the girl who always do stupid thing.lol
I will write about the impressions about Seattle, the program, people, place or so on and I will also write about the site that the participants work at so that Erika can know the place that she will work for from tomorrow.
To be honest, I did not know anything about Seattle but Ichiro.
It was long flight to get to Seattle!
10 hour flight from Osaka to Seattle.
Once I got, I like here soon because there are lots of natural beauty
besides cool store and urban air!
I got soooooo tensed up (I use the word “tense”because I learned it in class.) before I got to the Untioch University because I have to take a bus, It was the first time to meet the other participants and the staffs of iLEAP.
However, It was so fun for me to talk to all the person even though it was the first meeting!
I enjoy the SIIS program more than I thought
I try to write daily to keep the tip that I got from the others remember.
That’s what I do for make this program worth a lots more!
Come to think about the start of this trip, it was my friend who recommend this program for me.
He knew that I really want to know about NPO or volunteer spirits and he talked about this program.
I did not know this by the time he told me.
I want to say thank you for him to letting me know there are many chances if I want to get it.
Wonderful gift of me is people around me I think.
I do not why but I got a those great people support me all the time!
So good so far! and I hope it’s gonna be fine until I will finish this trip!
