Leticia Ocampo Villamar
After a lifetime experiencing glorious California weather year-round, Leticia decided that Seattle was the perfect place to start a new chapter in her life.
A native Spanish speaker, Leticia graduated from Stanford with a degree in Feminist Studies. She has a long history of improving operational systems in diverse social justice organizations across California. Leticia comes to iLEAP with 8+ years of experience as an operations and administration professional for non-profit organizations. She’s skilled in a wide range of work, including organizational systems, financial management, human resources, databases, and general administrative support for senior management and boards.
Prior to coming to iLEAP, Leticia took an extended travel adventure in Southeast Asia. With nothing more than her backpack and wits, she navigated the good and the bad across diverse cultures. Her experiences renewed her desire to return to the U.S. and continue to find ways to support organizations that promote justice and equality across borders.
During her free time, she enjoys traveling to new countries, cooking, learning how to drive a motorcycle, hitting the gym and enjoying a glass of wine with the latest sci-fi movie or book.
As the Operations Manager, Leticia will use her skills to serve as the “air traffic controller” at iLEAP.
