Kei Kasukawa Eriksen
Kei is the Managing Director at iLEAP where she is responsible for the overall organizational management of iLEAP. She also oversees all iLEAP program related activities to ensure that participants have the best experience possible. Kei’s responsibilities include creating and implementing organizational strategies, building partnerships, developing new programs and ensuring that all programs have a positive impact on each participant. Kei often travels to Japan to meet with partners and program graduates, and to recruit potential participants.
Kei has always been passionate about supporting people to realize their inner resourcefulness and this mission has been a thread throughout her career in the field of education. Prior to iLEAP, Kei worked at several community colleges in Seattle managing and facilitating multiple exchange programs and leadership programs for international students. Before she relocated to the US, she managed and developed international education classes for adult learners in Yokohama. Her love for personal growth and development is reflected in her work at iLEAP, where she brings over 15 years of management experience creating nurturing learning environments for program participants and the people around her.
In addition to her work at iLEAP, Kei is a full-time mother of an active 5 year old who loves storytelling in both Japanese and English. She is actively exploring ways to benefit her personal growth through life’s everyday challenges. Kei holds an MA in International Education with a focus on the advising of international students from SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, VT and a BA from Japan Women’s University.
Kei grew up in Hachioji and after a decade of living in Seattle, she can still call Japan home.
