Urawa High Leadership Program

iLEAP Urawa High School Leadership program was a 5-week online program, formed in partnership with Saitama Prefectural Urawa High School in Japan. The program was designed to achieve the educational goals that Urawa high school hold. While learning about leadership, the program participants had several interactive sessions with guest leaders from the U.S. and high school students in Seattle.
Three Main Pillars:
Global Leadership
A core iLEAP online course that grounds students in the foundations of global leadership utilizing iLEAP’s 6 leadership tools
Leadership Interview
An interview session with U.S. guest leaders who share their leadership challenges, core values and future visions
Intercultural Discussion
An interactive discussion about leadership, global mindset, dreams and visions with high school students in Seattle
Program Goals
For this Urawa High School program, four specific goals were set up:
- Goal 1: Understand their own leadership and how they can be effective in cross-cultural and global contexts
- Goal 2: Acquire the skills to express and form their opinions in English
- Goal 3: Gain a deeper understanding of who they are as global citizens and global leaders
- Goal 4: Develop online communication skills
