Britt Yamamoto, PhD, MSc (USA)
Founder & President
Britt is the President at iLEAP where he leads strategy formation and builds partnerships. He finds great meaning in the work of iLEAP, knowing that we are making a significant and lasting difference in the lives of a new generation of young leaders around the world.
Britt has been fortunate to be on a very eclectic professional journey–including stops as an organic farmer on two continents, a full-time professor, and being the founder of several social businesses serving Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East. In addition to his leadership with iLEAP, he is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Washington Department of Global Health, a Founding Partner of Solutions for Online Integrated Learning (SOIL), the co-host of the podcast, Off-Track, On-Purpose, and the CEO and co-founder of Perennial, a leadership training organization that designs and facilitates transformational experiences for seasoned social leaders from around the world.
He holds a BA degree from the University of Michigan, an MSc from the University of California at Davis, and a PhD from the University of Washington. Britt grew up in southern California, but now enjoys making his home in Seattle with his family and Princess Leia Organa, the dog.
